To strengthen the public participation in the decision making process by creating avenues of participation Parliament of India passed the 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act in 1992. It stipulates every gram panchayat to prepare this annual plan (Gram Panchayat Development Plan – GPDP) and get it passed in Gram Sabha.

This weeklong introductory course on Gram Panchayat Development Plan will take you through the ethos behind this provision in the act, a variety of studies to be done to make GPDP, basics of the process of preparing GPDP and its components.

₹ 8000/- per person.

The course fees include on-campus dormitory accommodation, 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), 2 tea/coffee.

Medium of instructions

Knowledge of English is essential as medium of instructions is English. However, help is available in Marathi, Hindi and Gujrati if required.
